“Further Fluctuations” by Ostrowski sounds like a dream about artificial intelligence that has broken out of control of its creator. The programmed system gradually begins to behave like a living organism and make unpredictable decisions. This fascinating vision is also a disturbing one because we do not know whether the movements of the machine are still an exuberant dance or an ecstatic frenzy that will result in devouring of a frightened observer. The album is based on a narrative rarely found in electronic beat music. This particular rise of the machines has a director who meticulously plans all surprising plot twists, skillfully doses tension and leaves no room for coincidence.
